Caledonia (7-3, 4-1 in OK White) used a combination of Eddie Kelly and Jalen Burton to drive into Mona Shores (9-1, 5-0 in OK Black) territory right out of the gate, but on 4th and 4 from the Mona Shores 20, Jalen Burton was stopped short of a first down by Tyler Tippens.

Mona Shores took over and three plays later, Tyree Jackson swung it out to Darece Roberson who took it 52 yards to the house for the TD and a 7-0 Mona Shores lead with 5:26 left in the 1st.

The Sailors forced Caledonia to punt after they picked up a first down and three incomplete passes thrown downfield by Tanner Christian. Eddie Kelly's punt pinned the Sailors back at their own 8-yard line.

After trading punts, Kelly once again pinned Mona Shores deep in their own territory, this time at the 9-yard line. On the next play, Tyree Jackson quickly fired it out to Hunter Broersma who took it 88 yards down the sideline to the Caledonia 3. DeOntay Moffett finished the drive with a 3-yard TD running giving Mona Shores a 14-0 lead with 10:11 left in the 2nd quarter.

Caledonia responded with a reverse to Trenton Foreman who ran 43 yards to the Mona Shores 29-yard line and a personal foul tacked on 15 more to the 14. A few plays later, Tanner Christian rolled out to pass, but took it in himself from 8 yards out for the touchdown and cut the lead to 14-7 with 7:59 left in the half.

A couple of penalties forced Mona Shores to punt, but the Sailors created a turnover on the following possession. Tanner Christian's pass over the middle was picked off by Noah Dykstra near midfield and he returned it to the Caledonia 24. Tyree Jackson then ran 21 yards to the 3 yard line and finished the drive a play later with a 2-yard TD run making the score 21-7 Mona Shores with 3:36 left in the half.

Caledonia pushed the ball to midfield before the half, but a block in the back hurt the drive and the score stayed 21-7 heading into the half.

A nice kick return by Hunter Broersma set up Mona Shores at the 48 yard line to start the 2nd half. A couple of first down completions by Jackson moved the Sailors to the Caledonia 30. On 4th and 1, DeOntay Moffett broke a 24 yard run down to the 6-yard line. A few plays later Tyree Jackson hit Broersma for a 7-yard TD and a 28-7 lead with 8:54 left in the 3rd.

Caledonia responded with 17 and 16 yard runs from Eddie Kelly. Then, they converted a 4th and 2 with a run up the middle by Logan Soule. Jalen Burton than ripped off a 17-yard run down to the 3 and Logan Soule finished the drive with a TD making it 28-14 with 5:58 left in the 3rd.

Mona Shores fired back with a 39-yard strike into the end zone from Jackson to Matt Schuiteman with 4:07 left in the 3rd. Darece Roberson had runs of 13 and 12 yards on the drive to help set up the score making it 35-14.

Caledonia was stopped on 4th and 3 on their next possession. On their following drive to start the 4th quarter, Tanner Christian was sacked twice and Caledonia was forced to punt.

Mona Shores then used a strong run game from DeOntay Moffett and Tyree Jackson to drive 66 yards for the TD. DeOntay Moffett capped the drive with a 3-yard TD run with 5:25 left to make it 42-14, which ended up being the final.
