ABOUT MICHIGAN SPORTS RADIO
Michigan Sports Radio was actually started as RamsRadio in December of 2005, by Brock Konkle and Paul Stabile. After working radio together for a year, they were having a conversation one day and thought it would be a neat experience for people to be able to listen to and support their alma mater not only locally but anywhere around the world.

After some research they decided to start broadcasting games for Rockford as an audiocast. Not only did they achieve their initial goal but through their streaming company had the ability to archive the games which meant now people can listen to the game not only live but anytime they want. All of a sudden it took off and other schools showed interest in having their games audiocast, thus Michigansportsradio.com was born.

Not only did this provide a unique experience for the listeners but also after talking with several marketing companies an advertising package was developed which provides the advertiser with four means of advertising exposure. When advertisers started complimenting on the success of the exposure they received we knew we had come up with a product, which appeals to everyone. Michigan Sports Radio also donates a portion of their advertising dollar back to the local high schools athletic programs.

Brock Konkle graduated from Rockford High School in 1983 followed by Hope College in 1987. After being a teacher and coach for ten years Brock decided to go into business for himself by starting a screen printing company. He got his start in broadcasting from Rick Berkey and has been broadcasting high school sports for three years. He enjoys the opportunity to give back to sports what he got out of it and is privileged to provide this opportunity to the different schools which are not part of our broadcast network.
ABOUT THE WEST MICHIGAN FOOTBALL NETWORK

Our mission at the West Michigan Football Network is to provide the most accurate coverage of high school football in West Michigan and eventually the entire state. Our goal is to provide the best coverage, while giving teams as much positive exposure as possible. Every day we strive to be perfect in our coverage of high school football. We do our best to put up accurate and complete information. If something isn't complete, we aren't going to post it for the sake of posting it. If we are notified about something being inaccurate, we change it ASAP. High school football is not something we cover because we can, high school football is something we love and want to cover it perfectly for everyone else who loves it as well.

Below we have listed some of our goals for the West Michigan Football Network.

  • Stream multiple high school football games a week giving programs more exposure.
  • Publish complete recaps, photos, box scores, and highlights for each game we cover.
  • Create opportunities for broadcasting, journalism, and photography students.
  • Expand and cover more high school sports.
  • Make the West Michigan Football Network the number one source for Michigan high school football.
