Some very early storylines to watch during the 2014 season
By: WM Football Network Staff August 13, 2014

Practice has officially begun and the 2014 season is right around the corner. Before Casey and I dive into our complete preseason coverage, we would like to start with a few early story lines to watch over the course of the 2014 season.

Here is a quick rundown of the topics covered in our early season story lines video.

1. The race for the OK Red - Rockford dealt with injuries throughout the 2013 season (especially at the QB position), but still found a way to win a 5th straight conference title. Will the Rams win a 6th straight? Who is else ready to contend?

2. Is it a QB type of year? - There are several solid signal callers in West Michigan we expect to have huge seasons in 2014. Wassink, Jackson, Russell, Opple, the list goes on and on. QB Year

3. Strong programs looking to bounce back - Caledonia and East Grand Rapids were a few close losses away from being playoff teams in 2013. Will these programs be on the other side of those close games in 2014 and make a push for the playoffs?

4. The quest to repeat - West Catholic and Zeeland West begin their journey to repeat as State Champs, while South Christian and Muskegon look to avenge their losses in the 2013 finals.

More coverage is on the way as we get closer to the season. We will be making predictions, talking about top players/teams, and much more.
