Grand Rapids Christian (6-5, 2-3 in OK White) tossed a 90-yard TD pass on the first play of the game as the Eagles busted out a trick play to open the game. QB Luke Thompson handed the ball off on a reverse to Qi'ante Ewing who then fired the ball back down the sidelines to a wide open Thompson and he went 90 yards for the over Lowell (10-1, 4-1 in OK White) TD and a 7-0 lead 18 seconds into the game.

Lowell quickly went three and out after three incomplete passes, but Grand Rapids Christian fumbled the punt and the Red Arrows jumped on it at the Grand Rapids Christian 47. The Red Arrows used runs of 11 and 15 yards by QB Ryan Stevens to reach the 19 yard line. Max Dean capped the drive with a 9-yard TD run.

The Eagles fired right back as they drove 65 yards on 9 plays and finished the drive with a 10-yard TD pass from QB Luke Thompson to running back Malik McLaughlin to take a 14-7 lead. The Eagles went for it on 4th and 2 at the Lowell 30-yard line and James Dockery's 5-yard run picked up the 1st.

Lowell answered with a 65-yard TD pass from Ryan Stevens to Gabe Steed. Steed ran a post route down the middle of the field and made a fantastic one-handed catch before running it in for six making it 14-14 with 3:41 left in the 1st.

After forcing a three and out, Stevens threw another long TD pass and this time it was to Josh Branagan who caught a pass running down the seam and took it 61-yards for the TD and a 21-14 lead with 1:22 left in the 1st.

The score stayed that way until the 7:56 mark in the 2nd quarter when Ryan Stevens' 1-yard TD run gave Lowell a 28-14 lead. Stevens fumbled earlier in the drive after being hit by Mitch Damstra, but the Red Arrows were able to recover it and capitalize with a TD.

Grand Rapids Christian used a 35-yard pass from Luke Thompson to Deleon Brown to reach the Lowell 35 and then a pass interference a few plays later had Grand Rapids Christian at the 19. Lowell's defense held strong and forced a 33-yard field goal and Griffin Bowes nailed it making the score 28-17 with 5:19 left in the half.

Lowell jumped back on the board after a couple of three and outs from both teams. Stevens hit Josh Branagan for the 24-yard TD pass with 1:30 left and a 35-17 lead for the Red Arrows at the half.

Grand Rapids Christian started the scoring in the 2nd half when Lowell fumbled a handoff exchange and Qi'ante Ewing picked up the ball and ran it 63 yards for the TD making the score 35-24 Lowell with 9:31 left in the 3rd.

Lowell's defense then used pressure to force Grand Rapids Christian to punt as Luke Thompson didn't have much time to throw in the 2nd half. Lowell got a 28-yard TD run from Max Dean with 11:42 left in the 4th quarter to make it 42-24 and then Dean added an 11-yard scored with 4:55 left to make it 49-24.
