It's
that time again. Let's hand out some pride stickers for great
performances in week 4.
Lasavian
Majewski (RB, West Catholic): Majewski rushed
for 156 yards and 2 touchdowns helping lead West Catholic to a 4-0
start.
Travis
Russell (QB, West Catholic): Russell
did it with his legs on Friday night racking up 154 rushing yards and 3
touchdowns. He combined with Majewski for 310 yards rushing.
Mason
Opple (QB, Hudsonville): Opple
was 9/19 for 176 yards with 2 touchdowns through the air and he added
125 yards with 2 touchdowns on the ground. The Eagles went for two with
less than a minute left and Rockford halted the Eagles for a 28-27 win.
Michael
Ivy (RB, East Kentwood): Ivy broke a 71-yard TD
run on his first carry of the game and didn't slow down as he racked up
208 yards and 3 touchdowns in a 39-38 win over Grandville. Ivy also
scored on TD runs of 34 and 14 yards.
Alezay
Coleman (WR/DB, Muskegon): Coleman caught a
45-yard TD, ran for a 14-yard TD, and was part of a dominant Muskegon
defense on Friday night.
Kaden
Kempker (WR, Hudsonville): Kempker was Opple's
main target vs the Rams catching 5 passes for 126 yards and a TD. His
TD was a 64 yarder with 55 seconds left in the game.
Jon
Wassink (QB, South Christian): Wassink
threw 2 touchdowns and ran for 109 yards, but he set the tone on
defense by returning an interception 33-yards for a TD on Forest Hills
Eastern's first drive of the game.
The
Muskegon Defense: The Big Reds were great on
defense holding East Grand Rapids to 159 total yards and 7 points (4
sacks, 8 TFL). Taran Smith led Muskegon with 9 tackles (2 TFL).
Kyle
O'Connor (QB, Greenville): O'Connor
ran for 138 yards and a touchdown in Greenville's big win over Wayland.
He also threw 2 touchdown passes on the night.
