Pride Stickers: Week 6

It's that time again. Let's hand out some pride stickers for great performances in week 6.

Travis Russell (QB, West Catholic): Russell had 5 total touchdowns as the Falcons improved to 6-0 with a 49-6 win over Sparta. He was 11/18 for 182 yards and 4 touchdowns through the air. Russell added 53 yards rushing and a TD.

Jake Martin (QB, Forest Hills Northern): Martin had a 37-yard TD run with 1:12 left in the game to lift the Huskies to a 44-36 win over Greenville. He was 15/24 for 265 yards and a TD through the air, while adding 138 yards and 4 touchdowns on the ground.

Austin Heeres (QB, Calvin Christian): Calvin fell short vs Hopkins 35-27, but Heeres had a big night. He was 21/35 for 284 yards and 3 touchdowns. Heeres ran for 173 yards and a TD as well.

Eric Plate (RB, Greenville): Plate had a huge night in a hard fought loss to Forest Hills Northern 44-36. Plate ran for 234 yards and 3 touchdowns in the loss. He averaged 9.4 yards per carry.

Geff Plasman (RB, South Christian): Plasman did a little bit of everything in South Christian's win over Ottawa Hills. He had 120 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns. He caught a TD and threw another.

The East Grand Rapids Defense: The Pioneers shut out Forest Hills Central 10-0 at Fifth Third Ball Park. This unit registered 4 sacks and 6 TFL in the win.

West Ottawa: The entire team gets a Pride Sticker for their great comeback vs East Kentwood. The Panthers trailed 21-6 in the 3rd quarter, but rallied for a 28-21 win scoring the go-ahead TD with less than a minute to go.
