Pride Stickers: Week 7

In week 7 we saw several players step up in crucial games to help their teams pick up big wins. Let's see who gets a Pride Sticker for their week 7 performance.

The Cedar Springs Defense: The Red Hawks held Forest Hills Northern to 8 points and picked off 3 passes in their 14-8 win to leap into 1st place in the OK Bronze. Kaden Myers, Nate Sorensen, and Cameron Alvesteffer each had an interception, while Mavrick Cotton had 12 tackles (3 TFL) on the night.

Travis Russell (QB, West Catholic): Russell had 5 total touchdowns for the second straight week to lead West Catholic to a 47-33 win over Comstock Park. Russell was 15/27 for 304 yards and 3 touchdowns. He added 87 rush yards and 2 touchdowns.

Conner Nemmers (WR, West Catholic): Nemmers caught 5 passes for 174 yards and a TD in the win over Comstock Park. The 174 yards is the most by a Falcons' receiver this season.

Eddie Kelly (RB, Caledonia): Kelly ran for 174 yards and 2 touchdowns as Caledonia beat East Grand Rapids 30-7. He averaged 7.0 yards per carry on the night.

Eric Plate (RB, Greenville): Plate had another huge night in a loss. He ran for 260 yards and 2 touchdowns. He passed 1,000 yards on the season.

Jon Wassink (QB, South Christian): Wassink was 17/20 for 283 yards and 4 touchdowns as South Christian won their 5th straight game.

Evan Beukema (WR, South Christian): Beukema was Wassink's main target on Friday night as he caught 4 passes for 117 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Brian Cappiello (RB, Grandville): Cappiello had 157 yards and 3 touchdowns in Grandville's win over West Ottawa.

Nolan Meekhof (RB, Grandville): Meekhof joined Cappiello with a 100-yard night as he finished with 145 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Geff Plasman (RB, South Christian): Plasman had another 100-yard game as he racked up 127 yards and 3 touchdowns vs Hastings. He averaged 9.1 yards per carry.
