Muskegon rallies for 29-21 win over Grand Rapids Christian

Grand Rapids Christian held a 21-10 lead at the half, but the Big Reds scored 13 points in the 4th quarter to beat the Eagles 29-21. Caleb Washington had 172 yards rushing for Muskegon and 2 touchdowns. Washington scored the go-ahead touchdown with 8:49 left in the 4th quarter giving Muskegon a 22-21 lead. Taran Smith had 9 tackles and a sack on defense for the Big Reds.

East Grand Rapids pushes past Ottawa Hills 24-7

Bryce Henkey stepped in for an injured AJ Zawacki and rushed for 50 yards, while adding 2 touchdowns in the 2nd half. The Pioneers defense was swarming all night as they racked up 7 sacks. Brendan Oosse with 2, Mason Banbury with 1.5, and Carter Masek added 1.5.

Rockford uses big 3rd quarter to top Holt

The Rams scored 20 points in the 3rd quarter on their way to a 40-28 win over Holt on Saturday. Severe weather pushed the game to Saturday, but that didn't slow down Jake Sendzik who ran for 138 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win. Rockford also got touchdown runs from Bell, Bradfield, and McKellar. Gabe Baumann, Aaron Ortiz, and Dakoda Pankratz each recorded a sack, while Andy Heider had an interception.

Opple, Hudsonville cruise past Traverse City West 48-17

Mason Opple had another huge game as he ran for 3 touchdowns and 180 yards. Opple was 9/14 for 136 yards and TD through the air. Kyle Toth added 80 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns for the Eagles. Jack Mandryk was a beast on defense with 8 tackles and 2 sacks.

Grandville scores late to beat Okemos 36-34

Jake Garbarino's 1-yard TD run with 12 seconds left lifted the Bulldogs to the win. It was one of two rushing touchdowns for Garbarino on the day and he also caught a 34-yard TD pass from Ryan Koorndyk. Brian Cappiello added 133 yards and TD. Ben Sinclair added 79 yards and a TD in the win.

Belding holds off Lakewood 22-14

Jeff Brimmer had 137 yards rushing and a TD, while Aaden Quinn threw for 2 touchdowns. Blake Rodarmer had 6.5 tackles and an interception to lead the defense.
