Majewski went beast mode on Friday night, running for 223 yards and a
TD as West Catholic beat Forest Hills Eastern 38-14. The Falcons are
now 3-0 on the season after 5 rushing touchdowns in the win. Travis
Russell had three, while Majewski and Patrick Truskowski each had one.
Russell was 16/25 for 158 yards through the air to go along with his 3
rushing touchdowns.
The
defense continued their hot start in the turnover category this season
as they forced a fumble and grabbed two interceptions on the night. Ben
Sweedyk picked off both of the passes and Riley Sack recovered the
fumble. Sweedyk had a solid night adding 9 tackles to his 2
interceptions. Bryce Witham had 7 tackles (4 TFL) on the defensive end
and caught 4 passes for 41 yards.
The
Falcons shut out Forest Hills Eastern in the first half and held them
to 76 yards rushing on the game and a 2.5 yards per carry average.
