Reaction: Lowell 30, East Grand Rapids 25

Moment of the Game: Ryan Stevens hit Gabe Steed on a 32-yard pass down to the EGR 20 with just over two minutes left in the game. A few plays later Max Dean punched it in from 3-yards out to give Lowell a 30-25 win.

Player of the Game: Max Dean might not have had a ton of rushing yards (23), but he found the endzone four times and wouldn't be denied inside the 5-yard line. Dean scored the game-winning TD with 59 seconds left.

Shined in a losing effort: Sam Matthews had two big touchdown catches and 118 yards for East Grand Rapids in the loss. Matthews caught a 79-yard and 37-yard TD from Roth in the 2nd quarter.

Stat of the Night: It was a very evenly matched game as Lowell had 304 total yards and East Grand Rapids had 318. Lowell threw for 243 yards and EGR threw for 267. Lowell ran for 61 yards and EGR ran for 51 yards.

What's next: East Grand Rapids (2-1) travels to Muskegon, while Lowell (3-0) is at Muskegon Reeths-Puffer.
